It costs the same amount of money to train and feed a poor or mediocre racehorse as it does a quality racehorse.
Many people do not have $10,000 or $20,000 or more to invest in a racehorse.
Many horseracing fans would love to own a Kentucky Derby winner. Or a Breeder’s Cup winner. Or a local Stakes winner.
